Greensward Croft, Inc. is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin based manufacturer of agricultural and grounds maintenance equipment, which they sell through a network of more than 60 dealers across the U.S. and Canada. In the agricultural industry, Greensward is known for its innovative directional “misting” technology, which delivers microscopic water droplets to targeted areas.
In a 2014 move to diversify its customer base, and given the lagging ag market, Greensward began developing and rolling out its Intelligent Liquid Delivery system — basically a line of “smart,” self-programming sprinkler and irrigation equipment that can deliver a variety of liquid mixtures. Greensward’s ILD line is popular among industrial food processors for building humidification (via fogging) and fire suppression. Farmers with high capacity wells also are a target market of the ILD.
