HB 2410. Relates to motor vehicle dealers; relates to franchises. Expands indemnification obligations owed to dealers; restricts manufacturer requirements for DC Fast Charging at dealerships; expressly defines “coercion” under the act; expands right of first refusal (ROFR) protections of dealers; prohibits sales of “subscription services” for hardware already installed on vehicle without support/payment to dealer while exempting GPS and data fees; restricts and regulates implementation of online reservation systems by OEM.
